Thrisha has celebrated her birthday on Tuesday (May 4) in her home town Chennai. She returned home from a shooting to celebrate her birthday along with her family. In keeping with previous years, this time too Thrisha took time out for the underprivileged. She visited the orphanage 'Udhavum Karangal' and spent some quality time with kids there. She adopted an orphan boy and a special girl. Before this, her close friends threw her a surprise party at the stroke of mid-night to usher in her birthday. The actress has a couple of films in Tamil and Telugu lined up and is also slated to make her Bollywood debut this year opposite Akshay Kumar in Priyadarshan's Khatta Meeta.
