Udhayanidhi Stalin as talking to the media about him becoming a hero said,” I am becoming prepare. Mysskin wanted me to reduce my waight size. I have started going to gym. I feel shy to go to dance classes at this age.

But if this is called for the film, I have no other alternative than to go for dance class. ‘Pasanga’  Pandiraj neared me to do a lead role in the film that he is directing.
 
But after hearing the story, I found this film was almost like Paruthiveeran. As I take life in an easy way I felt that I cannot take that much feat to do this lead role. But my brother Arulnidhi is trained in dance and fight, so I made him do the role.” 

Udhayanidhi Stalin has produced in tamil films like Kuruvi (Vijay and Trisha), Aadhavan (Surya and Nayanthara), Vinnaithandi Varuvaya (Simbu and Trisha), Yavarum Kelir (Kamal Haasan and Trisha).

His grandfather is M. Karunanitdi , the Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu. His father is M. K. Stalin, the deputy Chief Minister and Home Minister of Tamil Nadu.

He is married to Kiruthiga Udhayanidhi, a popular Chennai magazine.
