Currently Vikram is doing two projects one of them is Rajapattai which is directed by Suseendharan. This film is produced by Ramesh. Director Suseendharan already gave us different movies like Vennila Kabadi Kuuzu, Naan Maahan Alla and Alagar Saamiyin Kuthirai. In this movie Vikram is doing a duel role. This movie is all about the relationship between the Grandfather and the Grandson. This movie is at first named as Vendhan and later on it is changed into Rajapattai. The film is a commercial entertainer which has action, sentiment, love, comedy in right proportions.

The shooting were started from June7. Deeksha Seth is going to pair with the Vikram in this movie.  Known to all that she has created waves in Tollywood within a short span of time and this film marks as her debut Kollywood movie. The songs are composed by Yuvan Shankar Raja and he is working with Vikaram first time.He crooned a song for this movie which is written by Yuga Bharathi.
